A Visit to Ohio Amish Country

WHAT A DAY! (AND NIGHT!)

For the 4th of July I was lucky to get together and meet for the first time 3 internet friends from our Fiber Art Traders group. Wanda, Nj and myself here. I also met Ange and her family.It was a great meeting and we really enjoyed ourselves!I can't remember when the last time it was I laughed so hard!

One highlight of my trip to Chicago was being able to meet Leilani! We met, did not have enough time to talk as we would have liked....I knew that would happen!

With her besides bringging me a lovely Leilani lollipop (I will post later) she brought a suitcase of all the beautiful things made by all fellow artsists in a group we belong to. Seeing and touching all of those was like having everyone with me...

A fantastic meeting, an unforgettable night!

I FINALLY FINISHED IT!

My friend Lori and I have been working on this Sue Spargo design tote ...I finally finished it!

I fell in love with Sue Spargo's work when I attended a lecture that I thought I wouldn't be interested in! Since then her work is one of my favorites...

1st Place ribbon at sebring Ohio Show

I am really excited to get this ribbon from qualified AQs teachers. It is so time consuming and so hard on one's hands and fingers, but getting people to appreciate it is all worth it!
